![]() ![]() ![]() The wingmen seem like a good idea but so far I haven't been able to find a use for them as I've won every race outright regardless. The three styles of car adds a new twist but doesn't really seem to make much of a difference (playing it in parallel with exotic and tuner). What I have experienced so far is that the game is good but it does seem to progress at quite a pace when compared with NFSU2 and NFSMW. Mixed thoughts on this - got the game but due to lots of work and other commitments I have only played for a couple of hours. The only problem I have now is trying to balance playing this and Canis Canem Edit!!! They will go for shortcuts etc no matter what. Apart of course from your 'crew' members AI. Apart from that, not a lot else is bad about it. Major pain, as it has potential to be quite fun. You can get a drift going to save your life and when you do, you just go sliding into a wall or off a cliff. I used to like this in the original games, but now it is just plain annoying. The only disappointment for me is the drift mode. In this game, your starter car will never beat the higher tier cars, no matter how much talent and modifications you have. It always frustrated me before that a Clio V6 could be just as fast as a McLaren SLR if tuned properly. I like what EA have done with the 'tiers' of cars. The graphics are so much better and the racing feels a lot faster. It's good as well that they have gone back to night racing. Started on the muscle cars and have moved on from that to tuner and then on to exotic. I like the format as well (win races to secure 'turf' and build up your reputation as a racer). I don't agree with what was said above about the canyon racing. Right, sat down to play yesterday morning and before I knew what had happened it was 6pm. ![]()
